Dunnes Stores VALUE club
For every £1 spent you earn one point. All points are recorded on a magnetic strip on the card. Once you have collected 200 points in a quarter, you receive a money-off voucher worth £2. Vouchers for £1 each will be awarded for every additional 100 points accumulated.
Members will also receive four special bonus coupons with their statement, which will entitle them to up to 200 extra points for specific purchases in Dunnes Stores outlets. Double points' periods add a further boost to point totals.
Tesco Clubcard
Every £1 you spend at Tesco, Quinnsworth, Crazy Prices and Bloomfields, earns you one point.
These points earn money-off vouchers which are distributed in the quarterly mailing. As a bonus, members can choose to earn extra points on highlighted products within the store. If 150 points are earned in a 13-week period, customers are sent money-off vouchers with their quarterly statement, to the value of £1.50. Every additional 50 points earns a further 50p voucher. A Christmas bonus scheme will entitle members who accumulate 250 points to an additional £3 voucher.
Superquinn's Superclub Card
The Superquinn scheme - the first retail customer reward scheme of its kind in Europe - operates on the same points basis. However, members can also clock up Superclub points via 24 participant companies. Bonus points are offered on more than 500 products, entitling a customer who spends £50 on these items to earn 800 points - sufficient for a £5 voucher. This can be used against a shopping bill at any time after 800 points have been collected. Superclub points can also be used against a catalogue of products. Between 12,000 and 14,000 gifts are claimed each week, with about 35,000 leading up to Christmas. When a National Irish Bank Visa or Mastercard is used in any Superclub outlet, you earn one point for every £2 spent, in addition to extra points given by the retailer.
