The Margin's eagle eye was caught by an article about Finance Minister, Mr McCreevy, in a recent issue of the Financial Times. The article concerned the Minister's insistence that his tax cuts would not trigger inflation. The headline read: "McCreevy reluctant to apply the brakes on Irish economy" and featured a photograph of Mr McCreevy posing on a motorbike. The Margin notes the Minister - even though he was "posing" - was not wearing a crash helmet. He, at least, is obviously confident that there is absolutely no possibility of a crash.
