THE two executive directors of the Irish Nationwide Building Society shared £600,000 in remuneration and pension payments last year, according to the society's annual report. Mr Michael Fingleton, managing director and Mr Stan Purcell, company secretary, received £395,000 in remuneration, up from £357,000 the previous year. The greater proportion of the money would have been paid to Mr Fingleton. However, pension payments fell from £322,000 to £205,000. The society's annual general meeting is being held today in Dublin.
