Up to 60 jobs will be created in the Co Donegal town of Lifford with the announcement yesterday that sports goods manufacturer O'Neills is to take over the former premises of Donegal Shirts. Donegal Shirts' parent company Austin Reed said in January the Lifford plant would close with the loss of 136 jobs. O'Neills is to advertise to fill the positions.
