A website designed to give consumers access to cheaper heating oil - www.cheaperheatingoil.ie - was launched earlier this week.

The new company will operate like a virtual energy co-operative, utilising the management's experience in international oil markets and the Internet to provide consumers with cheaper heating oil, as well as future price insurance to transacting customers.
