Oral-B Laboratories in Newbridge, Co Kildare, will create 150 jobs in the next two years following the completion of a £23 million (€29 million) expansion. This will bring staff levels to 560.

Opening the facility yesterday, the Tanaiste, Ms Harney, said the expansion had resulted from a successful research and development programme in Newbridge that had developed a new yarn for use in dental floss.
