Ms Emer McLeavey has been appointed chairwoman of the Irish Institute of Sales Promotions Consultants. The head of sales at Dimension, Ms McLeavey has more than 10 years experience in the industry.

Mr John Horgan will take over as managing director of the Kepak Group from the beginning of next month. Mr Horgan is currently deputy managing director.

Mr Liam Keating becomes finance director of the Kepak Group, replacing Mr Robert Grogan who becomes commercial director.

Ms Philippa Quigley has been named chief executive at the Irish Raynaud's and Scleroderma Society after 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Raynaud's affects 350,000 Irish people, of which 2 per cent develop scleroderma.

Dublin's Four Seasons Hotel has announced the appointment of Ms Gerrie Pitt as director of public relations for the new 259room hotel in Ballsbridge. Ms Pitt has 20 year's experience in public relations and marketing.

Carphone Warehouse, the State's largest retailer of mobile phones, has promoted Ms Sinead Bradley to area manager. Ms Bradley, who will now be responsible for 10 of the group's 32 Irish stores, was previously a store manager.

Ms Sharon McIntyre has joined recruitment and human resources consulting group NewMediaCV as operations manager after nine years in the industry, including a spell running her own company.

Cognotec, which provides foreign exchange and money market e-commerce solutions for financial institutions, has recruited Ms Collette Selfslagh as director of product management, based in London.
