An Irish-based writer is the author of the latest in the hugely successful "Dummy" series of internationally published computer self-help books. Nick Grattan, (above left, with Catherine Doyle, of Hewlett Packard) technical director of Irish-owned Software Paths has written Windows CE Programming for Dummies specifically for people who want to programme their palmtop computers. It follows the straightforward style, peppered with amusing explanatory cartoons, that has made the series a global must for technically backward learners.
