Unions representing TEAM workers have sought clarification from Aer Lingus on points contained in a letter which the airline furnished yesterday about the future of the aircraft maintenance facility.

Earlier this week a two-hour discussion took place at an Aer Lingus board meeting regarding TEAM. Labour deputy, Mr Emmet Stagg later accused the company of scaremongering. Management consultant, Mr John Behan sent the unions a letter yesterday explaining what exactly was discussed at the Aer Lingus board meeting. However, the unions want clarification on certain points.
