Panasonic Lumix GX1: From €599: The Panasonic Lumix GX1 may look a little like a classic camera, but on the inside, it's all modern.

Mixing advanced features with easy-to-use operation, the camera is the perfect compromise between a point and shoot and a Digital SLR. The compact lightweight camera comes with a 16 megapixel sensor and a host of shooting modes, interchangeable lenses and a fast autofocus function that allows you to take great photos quickly and easily.

If you are a bit more confident with your camera, you can assign your own settings to two dedicated buttons, and two menu tabs. And with a special lens, it even takes 3D photos.

From €190

Tombox products are unique. Each speaker is made from old speaker parts, transforming discarded loudspeakers into new portable amplifiers.

Each one has a built-in, rechargeable battery that gives enough power to last for two weeks at a time, and a charger that will allow you to top up the power when you need it.

It comes with a 3.5mm cable that connects the device to your laptop, digital music player and other similar devices. And each speaker looks different, thanks to the variety of parts used.

Tetris light

€39

This lifestyle accessory appeals to the retro gamer in all of us: it’s a lamp that mimics Tetris. You get seven Tetrominoes to play with, all different colours and shapes.

All that’s really required is for one bit of the Tetris light to be connected to mains power. From then on, you can arrange and rearrange the blocks how you like. As you place each one in your own personal Tetris puzzle, it lights up, giving you hours of fun. Unlike the computer game, however, your completed lines won’t disappear.
