Case-Mate Fuel Lite, €49
If you're an iPhone user, you're probably more than a little addicted to the device. But that addiction comes at a price: dwindling battery life.
To help beat the battery blues, Case-mate has developed Fuel Lite, a compact case with a built-in rechargeable battery.
The device charges from an USB and boosts your iPhone's battery life by up to 1.5 times. This means you get an extra 100 hours' standby, up to five extra hours of music playback, 2.5 extra hours of video, and two hours extra of talk time and internet use.
A button at the back of the case controls when its battery is used.

Everlast Wii Fit Workout Accessories, €23
Games have become a lot less couch potato and a lot more active, particularly when it comes to Nintendo's Wii console.
This has spawned a range of accessories designed to help you get in shape and make the most of the Wii.
Everlast has designed dumbbells that work with the Wiimote. The 2lb weights clip on to the controller and still allow you to access all the necessary buttons.
You can use the weights with Wii Fit, EA Sports Active and other cardio- inspired games. If you're feeling brave, you can get the aerobic step add-on for the Wii Fit Balance Board, which adds three inches of height to the controller.

IK Multimedia AmpliTube iRig, €29.99
Give your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad - if you're lucky enough to have one - a new function with IK Multimedia's AmpliTube iRig.
For guitar fans, it turns your device into a mobile guitar amp and effects rig system. For the rest of us, it means you can plug a guitar directly in to your iPhone or iPod and use an array of effects to create different sounds.
It works with a small jack that connects your guitar or bass to the iPhone and an app that you can download. The app costs up to €15.99 for the full version, but there is also a cheaper light edition and a limited free version.
The device works with line level signals from synthesizers, keyboards and mixers, and the output can be connected to amplifiers, powered speakers, mixers and headphones, so you can either annoy the neighbours or keep your creativity to yourself. Look out for it in the app store soon.
