Ahead of its new print and billboard ad campaign, Apple anonymously reached out to the most popular novice photographers through various social media platforms. The idea was to source the best examples of iPhone 6 photography. The result is an online gallery demonstrating the talent of these snappers as well as the capabilities of the iPhone 6 camera. These images from 77 different photographers across 24 countries will be used in the new Apple ads, showing that crowdsourcing can work for big technology firms.
