Wifi dead zones around the house are a frustrating thing of the past once you have Eero. Or at least that's what its makers claim.
The system uses mesh networks to spread wifi throughout your home even to previously inaccessible areas.
That means the garden, the attic room or, if you’re lucky enough to live in a solidly built house with thick walls, anywhere that’s more than a few feet from the router.
Eero’s maker claims three of the devices are enough to spread your wifi signal reliably throughout your rooms.
It doesn’t come cheap though. A single Eero will currently set you back $125, and a three-pack of the devices $299 (normal price $499).
But it’s not just about extending your network. Eero claims it will also make it faster, using software to optimise your wifi connections.
So you could also see an end to the dreaded “buffering” message. Now that would be a blessed relief.
