Google+ rebranded, not dead

Bradley Horowitz announces he his head of Google’s new Photos and Streams products

One year ago, chief architect of Google+, Yonatan Zunger, said of the social networking site: “We’ve gone from being a crazy idea to being one of the most exciting places on the internet, with a thriving community sharing, communicating, posting, writing, hanging out.”

It seems as though this community will soon be dismantled following Googler Bradley Horowitz's announcement that he is now head of Google's shiny new Photos and Streams products, an indication that the future of Google+ isn't in the "failed ideas" bin but rather as a rebranded social network with the photo backup (and Hangouts) elements running separately. Facebook killer, it ain't. https://plus.google.com/+BradleyHorowitz/posts/TCABnE5Jkwh
