IFS rebrands as Fexillon as it looks to double revenues

Company aiming to hit €6m in turnover by the end of 2023 as it expands overseas

Building tech company Integrated Facilities Solutions (IFS) has rebranded as Fexillon as part of an expansion strategy that will see it more than double revenues by 2023.

The company, which collates critical building information on behalf of building owners and managers, is gearing up for a move into a number of new markets in the US and Europe.

Fexillon said it expects to hit €3 million in revenues next year and to double turnover to €6 million by the end of 2023.

Founded by Kieran Beggan and George Harold over 20 years ago, the company announced plans earlier this year to take create 100 jobs over the next three yeras after securing €2 million through the Davy EIIS fund.

Fexillon technology platform, which is primarily aimed at design, construction and facilities management teams, provides a secure environment for managing information covering planning and design, construction and handover, and operations and maintenance.

Its cloud-based applications and services have been used on a number of landmark projects in the Republic, including the Aviva Stadium and Dundrum Town Centre.

Speaking to The Irish Times, the company said it expects 75 per cent of growth revenue will come from overseas by the end of 2022.

“Evolving our name marks a strategic pivot in our future direction and enables opportunities to market the Fexillon brand in pursuit of future growth and expansion,” said Mr Beggan.

The company also announced a new partnership with Microsoft for the development and testing of a range of solutions, including Digital Twins, HoloLens technology and BIM integration.
