Investment company Polaris Partners has begun an intern programme, offering students and recent graduates the chance to work in its US office.

The 10-week programme will take place in the company’s Boston office, and is aimed at those with an interest in technology and entrepreneurship.

As part of the scheme, the intern will work alongside existing Polaris team members in deal sourcing, portfolio company support and relationship building.

The company is focused on investing in technology and healthcare companies, and has offices in Dublin, San Francisco and Boston. Among the companies it has supported are LogMeIn, BoxEver and Logentries.

The company established itself in Dublin in 2011, introducing tech incubator and co-working space Dogpatch Labs.
