Polar Pen mixes high tech with low tech

This former Kickstarter project doesn’t just stick a rubber bit on the end to turn it into a stylus; it’s a modular pen made out of magnets that transforms itself according to your whim. And it has a rubber stylus tip, of course, which means you can use it with tablets and smartphones.

Not just a serious work tool, not quite a toy, it has 12 neodymium magnets that stick together to make a pen that you can customise to suit your needs. And then pull it apart and start again. Hours of fun.
