Science Today , developed by the California Academy of Sciences, is a comprehensive, well designed and accessible window to the modern world through the prism of science. When you open the app you see the stories (videos, text and news) represented by lovely photography; the top left corner button brings you a menu and the top right is for sharing content. There are bite-sized videos such as "The sustainability of chocolate", about models of cocoa farming, or the self-explanatory "Phelps vs Fish", and breaking science news stories from across the world (and beyond). The categories are "recent", "trending", "Earth", "life", "space", "sustainability" and "technology". Recommended even to those who only ever knew M83 as the name of a band.
