Thumbs up Dual Sim iPhone case €38

If you travel a lot, you may have found it cheaper to carry a few different Sim cards to make and take calls while you’re away.

But usually it’s a choice of regularly fiddling around with the tiny cards or carrying a couple of phones. The people at ThumbsUp have come up with a solution – a case that changes your Sim cards at the flick of a switch.

There’s no need for extra software. Its adapter fits the iPhone 4 and 4S, but it wont work for the iPhone 5 just yet. It has the added bonus of protecting your phone from bumps and falls.

Jorno Bluetooth keyboard From $79

If you have a keyboard to use with your mobile devices, they need to be portable. And you don’t get much more portable than the folding keyboard from Jorno. The Bluetooth enabled device works with iPhone/iPad and Android devices, and folds up to fit in your pocket.

But it’s still durable, and when you fold it out, you can use it in your lap without it buckling underneath you. It also has a detachable cradle for your device so you can keep your phone or tablet at the proper angle. It’s available for pre-order now, and is expected to ship early next year

Boombero Near Field Audio Speaker €57

Imagine being able to use a speaker with your mobile phone without wires, without Bluetooth and without having to rely on wifi.

That’s what the Boombero offers. It uses near field audio (NFA), a proprietary technology that will work with everything from the iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy S and Note handsets, to Sony, Blackberry and HTC.

You don’t have to spend ages scanning and pairing the devices; NFA allows mobile devices to transmit sound to a speaker within a short distance. And it doesn’t suck up as much battery either.

HP 7520 printer €204.45

If you need a decent all rounder – printing, scanning, copying – the HP 7520 fits the bill.

Vivid photographs, crisp copies and detailed scans, the 7520 covers it all. You can also print directly from your smartphone or tablet via HP’s ePrint facility.

It scans at a resolution of up to 2,400 dots per inch, with copies at up to 600 dpi. It connects wirelessly to your home network, so you can download apps from HP to expand the device’s capabilities, and print without ever having to hunt for another USB cable ever again.
