GAEMS G155 Mobile gaming environment
€342
You may never have had the urge to make your games console mobile, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t. The G155 gaming and entertainment system allows you to pack up your console and bring it on the road – or at least to a friend’s house. It’s made of some sturdy stuff, so it will protect your console – PS3 or Xbox – from the odd knock here and there. It’s not just a case though. It’s a “gaming environment”, which means that it has a 15.5in LED screen built into the case, so you can play your console wherever you choose. The catch: you’ll still need a power outlet.

Vuzik Wrap 1200
€449
The latest addition to Vuzik’s video eyewear is the Wrap 1200, a high res widescreen personal display system that you can take on the move. They look like a pair of sunglasses, so you can probably wear them in public without attracting too much ridicule. It’s the equivalent of watching a 75in display from three metres away. The glasses include technology such as independent right- and left-eye adjustment. There are detachable noise isolating earphones, so you can keep your viewing material private, plus the glasses support both 2D and 3D content, and will connect to video sources such as your iPhone or iPad too.

Aqua Phone Case
€23
We all know someone who could use one of these: a watertight case that will keep water, dust, snow and even sand out of your rather expensive smartphone. It’s guaranteed to keep water away from your iPhone or BlackBerry up to a depth of ametre, while the Perspex skin is also touch sensitive, so you can keep using your touchscreen even when it’s sealed inside. You can even use it for taking underwater video, provided you don’t get too ambitious on the depth. This case may not be the prettiest thing you’ve ever clad your phone in, but it will probably keep it a lot safer than the customised one with extra bling.
