A master tells his apprentice a story about the Rosetta mission. It is a tale of ambition: humankind reaches for the stars and the origins of life by sending an unmanned spacecraft to meet with and land on a comet. In this version of the future we have gained mastery over matter and can summon planets at will, based on our understanding of how life came to be coupled with the advances of science. This is actually a short film commissioned by the European Space Agency and starring Game of Thrones baddie Aiden Gillen. It is beautifully shot and rendered, allowing us to imagine a fantastical tomorrow where people wear dress like Star Wars extras.
