Trinity Technology will provide managed services for Metromedia Fibre Network's (MFN) co-location facilities throughout Europe under a partnership agreement signed this week.
The managed services will support the networks and components of customers hosted in MFN facilities, and will be supplied remotely from Trinity's support centre in Blackrock.
The deal is likely to generate substantial revenues over a three-year period for Trinity Technology and is a significant coup for the company.
MFN is constructing a $75 million (€85 million) Internet data centre in Dublin that will provide Microsoft with the capacity required to handle the huge volume of transactions predicted to arise from its new strategy, Microsoft.net.
Trinity has already signed deals with other co-location providers such as Esat X and Data Electronics.
