Valentia seeks to delist Eircom

The Valentia consortium has applied to the stock markets in Dublin and London to delist Eircom on December 10th

The Valentia consortium has applied to the stock markets in Dublin and London to delist Eircom on December 10th.Chaired by Sir Anthony O'Reilly but largely owned by US institutions, the consortium is the closing stages of acquiring the former State monopoly for €3 billion. It also said trading on the New York exchange would be suspended shortly after that date with the stock delisted by December 31st.
