Shares in recruitment agency CPL got off to a weak start when they began trading in Dublin. The stock achieved a modest premium over the price paid by institutions and staff for a combined 18 per cent stake in the group. Just under two-thirds of CPL employees bought shares as part of the placing which accompanied the listing. From the placing price of €0.77 (£0.61), the shares traded up in thin volumes to a close of €0.80.
