Rubik’s Touch Cube demonstration video

THE CLASSIC 1980s puzzle has just had a makeover for the iPod generation. The Rubik’s Touch Cube, a touchscreen model that even gives you hints or solves itself, is demonstrated in this video. The Noughties version even has an accelerometer (the circuit in your smartphone that knows which way is up).

It’s currently only available in the US for $150 (€100) but if you are trying to justify the price, it doubles up as a 1980s-themed lighting installation when dropped into its recharging dock.
