MACNAS's final part of a trilogy based on Gaelic myths is an extraordinary synthesis of powerful drama, spine tingling music and marvelously creative effects.
Ger Sweeney's wonderful set design fills the eye from the start . . masks, costumes (by Charmian Goodall) and lighting (David Murphy) are brilliant, and the non-stop action is driven by John Dunne's music. The cast creates a wonderfully athletic and balletic sweep through the story which moves like the wind, or rather like a gale.
Director Rod Goodall finds a truly creative harmony in this feast for the eye and ear, an unqualified triumph for Macnas.
