A Poem for a Best Friend

Our cheeks are rosy,

We’re wrapped up cosy,

In blankets,

On your double bed.

Watching sci-fi,

Wasting wi-fi,

Surfing websites,

Limbs like lead.

Laughing loudly,

Pointing proudly,

At the brothers,

On the screen.

We surf the channels,

Wearing flannels,

Like the brothers

we look mean

One of them dies.

“It must be lies!!!”

You scream, I laugh,

It happens all the time.

But we’re not like that,

Sister, friend.

I’ll be with you

Till the end.
