The Heart-in-Mouth audio poetry competition, curated by Dave Lordan and Colm Keegan and supported by Fingal county libraries.

Budding writers and performers in the locality are invited to record their most heartfelt work and send it as an MP3 file to Lordan and Keegan, who will judge entries on the strength of the reading as well as the content of the work. The winner will receive an iPod and, along with two runners-up, an invitation to take part in a poetry showcase. The competition closing date is April 20th. Dublin City Book Fair, which will take place tomorrow at the Tara Towers Hotel, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, from 11am to 5pm, with 20 booksellers from around Ireland. The range of books on offer is wide, from finer rare items to everyday reading. Admission is €2; accompanied children are free, as is parking. For details, email schullbooks@eircom.net.
