A report in yesterday's editions concerning the arrest of a woman from the United States, Ms Beth Anne Carpenter, of Hartford, Connecticut, stated that the woman came to the notice of the gardai when her flat-mates contacted them, having become concerned about Ms Carpenter whom they had not seen for a number of days. In fact, Ms Carpenter was located entirely through the initiative of the gardai.
