In an article headlined "Effective policing needed' by Che Breen on page 6 of the Communications '99 supplement, which was published with the editions of Wednesday, December 16th, Barry Maloney was referred to as chief executive of Eircell. He is, in fact, chief executive of Esat Digifone.

A report in yesterday's editions of the funeral in Cork of Mrs June Atkins referred to Dr John Buckley as the Bishop of Cork and Cloyne. Dr Buckley is the Bishop of Cork and Ross.
