Expanded city fair offers chance to strike gold

MORE than 50 dealers from around the Republic will have stands at an expanded fair in Newman House, Dublin, tomorrow

MORE than 50 dealers from around the Republic will have stands at an expanded fair in Newman House, Dublin, tomorrow. Organiser Joan Murray has taken a second room in the building to accommodate a growing number of traders, as well as an increasing number of buyers and browsers. The fair offers one of the biggest selection of small antiques and collectables, including furniture, paintings, linen and lace, Victorian water colours and 18th and 19th century prints, as well as antiquarian books and cinema memorabilia.

To celebrate the expansion of the fair there will be a free draw for a Victorian gold sovereign. The fair is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
