It sounds like a belated April Fool, but it looks as if somebody really is making Raging Bull 2. The Seventh Seal 2 (The Eighth Seal?) or 8 ½ 2 (9 2/3?) sound about as likely. It has, however, been confirmed that one Martin Guigui is directing a film that will cover the periods immediately before and after the events described in Martin Scorsese’s 1980 study of boxer Jake LaMotta. And, yes, the new film’s working title is, indeed, Raging Bull 2. Is nothing sacred?
