REEL NEWS:Elton John has confirmed that plans are afoot for a film based on his life.

"We have a director on board," Sir Elton commented, "and then it's just going to be a matter of getting the script exactly the way we want it. Then we'll start trying to cast and plan." The old eccentric has clear – and ever so slightly vain –notions of who should play him in the film. "I've got a wish list of people. Number one on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of Rocket Manand he was superb." We don't wish to be rude, but the notion of Timberlake as a spectacled, slightly overweight kid from Pinner does seem the tiniest bit off-beam.
