Simcity Deluxe

SimCityis a bit of a guilty secret. I can't quite put my finger on why, but the town- planning simulator has been almost a constant for me over the years. Now the "Deluxe" version has been give a bit of a retooling for iPhone and iPod Touch. The user interface has had some work, with larger buttons better suited to the touch screen, and graphics have been improved. Little changes, such as the ability to alter your landscape by touch are brilliant – you essentially fingerpaint the terrain with water and trees. But all your hard work and careful planning can be undone, thanks to Mother Nature. Not only do you get four seasons, you also get the worst that the weather will throw at you, with natural disasters lurking. Simple yet absorbing.
