In a bit of a throwback, Super Time Force brings back the side-scroller with its own twist on the retro tale. Contrary to most time travel stories, here you must mess about with the fabric of time, righting wrongs and air-brushing history as you go. One of the most appealing elements of Super Time Force is the ability to "rewind" time up to 30 times in one session, dropping your chosen character in the middle of the action. That essentially means you can cheat death or recover errors, allowing you to finish the level within the very short 60 seconds allocated. Each time you rewind time, you create another copy of yourself, which comes in handy as you move through levels. It can get chaotic, and some of those 30 lives will be wasted as you find your character quickly bumped off with little progress. But it's a fresh take on retro. supertimeforce.com
