A Georgian mahogany chest on chest dating from circa 1780 is expected to make the highest price at next Monday's auction at Mullen's of Laurel Park, beginning at 11 a.m. It carries a pre-sale estimate of £2,000-£3,000, while a William IV mahogany double-sided writing table with green leather inset on its rectangular top should make £1,200-£1,600. Both a white marble statuary fireplace and a Waterford cut-glass chandelier have the same estimate of £1,000-£1,500, an Edwardian mahogany kneehole desk is expected to fetch £1,000-£1,400 and a Regency fold-over card table has a price of £800-£1,200. Other items include: a Georgian mahogany card table from circa 1810 (£800-£1,000), a Victorian rosewood baby grand piano (£650-£850), an Irish Georgian mahogany economy table (£600-£800) and a Victorian mahogany chest (also £600-£800).
