Georgian wardrobe may fetch £1,200 in Kilkenny

MICHAEL Donohue & Sons of Goresbridge, Co Kilkenny, is holding an auction next Monday starting at 4 p.m. sharp. Among the 1,000 odd lots on offer are a Georgian inlaid mahogany two door wardrobe and a Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase, both estimated to fetch £1,000-£1,200 each, and a Victorian mahogany Dend dining table with two extra leaves, which is expected to sell for £2,000-£2,500.

A Regency gilt overmantle mirror carries a pre sale estimate of £800-£1,000; a Georgian mahogany bow front chest of drawers is expected to sell for £600-£800; a William IV cheval mirror has an estimate of £600-£800; and a Georgian mahogany fold over table is expected to fetch £500-£600.
