Irish part in the British empire

Sir, – Nick Strong (April 19th) seems to extoll the presence and deeds of Irish men and Irish women in the British empire down through the years.

I say “shame on him” – and them. To steal people’s land and then subjugate them is nothing to be proud of. Yours, etc,
