There are regular flights to Kunming from most Chinese cities, including Beijing. You can also fly direct from Hong Kong.

Alternatively, Kunming is well connected by train to large cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou (Canton). There are a number of non-direct flight options from Dublin to Hong Kong and Beijing.
