Everything you need to know about the band’s concert on Monday, June 26th

Glaswegian rock band Texas will kick off a summer series of concerts at Trinity College Dublin this week, the first of seven gigs.

Formed by singer Sharleen Spiteri and bassist Johnny McElhone, the band made big in 1997 with their alternative rock album White On Blonde.

With countless record sales and more than 100 million streams on Spotify, the album’s hit single Say What You Want was their ticket to the top. The band released their 10th album in 2021, including a collaboration song with Wu Tang Clan, who shared the spotlight with Texas in the late 1990s.
