Beyonce to play Croke Park in July as part of world tour

Singer announced ‘Formation’ world tour during Sunday-night's Super Bowl performance

Beyonce has confirmed she will perform at Dublin's Croke Park on July 9th this year, just over a month after Bruce Springsteen is due to take the same stage.

The singer announced her Formation world tour during her performance at the Super Bowl in California on Sunday.

The announcement came just a day aftre the surprise release of new single Formation, Beyonce's first new song since her Beyoncé: Platinum Edition was released in November 2014.

Tickets go on sale Monday, February 15th with prices starting at €49.50.

Her stadium tour kicks off in North America with European dates starting on June 28th.

Beyonce last performed in Ireland as part of her Mrs Carter tour in 2013, to sold-out crowds at the Three arena (then named the O2).
