The Galway Music Residency plans to celebrate its 10th birthday later this month with a festival incorporating both daytime events and evening concerts.
On February 27th, Feb 28th and March 1st, the classical-oriented residency programme will host concerts by The ConTempo String Quartet, the current ensemble-in-residence, as they perform with artists such as The RTÉ Van Brugh Quartet, Dermot Dunne, Ariel Hernández, pianist Isabelle O'Connor and composer Karen Power, the latter presenting the world premiere of her new work.
Free daytime recitals with readings by poet Kevin O'Sullivan, performances by cellist and vocalist Naomi Berrill (left) and more will also take place. For more, see
