We’re obsessed ourselves with this pop confection, in which Frankie shouts out her crushes, asking for their love and affection. She’s willing to put up a fight, singing, “No I don’t want wanna be your best friend/Just let me be your new obsession”.

Hero of the week: Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has released her new album for free online. Working with Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips, Miley dropped the 23-track Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz on Soundcloud. "This music was not meant to be a rebellion," she told the New York Times. "It was meant to be a gift."

Her label issued a release saying that “Miley Cyrus continues to be a groundbreaking a artist. She has a strong point of view regarding her art and expressed her desire to share this body of work with her fans directly.”

Maturing story of the week: Avicii

Avicii has cancelled his upcoming tour, claiming that he needs time to grow up. “In moving my tour promotional responsibilities to next year, I have a great opportunity to focus on myself and spend time trying to grow up in a way I never got the chance to – normal, or as normal as it could get.”

Hero of the week: Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber explained his behaviour over the past few years to a TV interviewer. "What it was is that I just had a bunch of knuckleheads around me . . . I just went through a place of just trying to figure it out. You have to figure out what you're okay with and what you're not okay with, and you have to test the waters. "I just happened to be in the spotlight in front of the cameras all the time, and they caught those moments."
