AILBHE MALONEbumps into Leona Lewis and thinks she knows her

TRACK OF THE WEEK

Bones by MS MR:Tumblr glitch pop is how duo MS MR describe their music. We'd offer, instead, "the tail-end of Electroclash, mixed with Florence's fondness for a full soundscape". Which actually probably sounds even less appealing. But it's good, we promise. With lyrics like "dig up her bones, but leave her soul alone", this spooky disco track comes right in time for Halloween.

* In"we've all been there" news, Leona Lewis has fessed up about her crap star-spotting skills. Speaking to New magazine, she explained she often confuses celebrities with friends. "It's really weird. Usually when I see someone famous, for some reason, I think I know them. I've approached people so many times just because they are a familiar face. I smile at them and go to talk to them and clearly they don't know me!" She's done it to Taylor Lautner from Twilight "and a few of the EastEnders actors too. It's really embarrassing, but I do it all the time!" Stars, they're just like us.

* Itseems Christina Aguilera, now 31, has finally grown into herself, in terms of both her body and her attitude to life. While she was promoting her new album, she mused: "I've always been one to make it very clear, love me or hate me, take it or leave it, this is who I am. I embrace my body, and I embrace everything about myself. Coming full circle is a celebration of freedom and happiness because that's what Lotus is representing. I'm embracing everything that I've grown to be and learned to be."

* Semanticsfans, rejoice! Carly Rae Jepsen has cleared up any confusion as to the tone of "maybe". The singer explains that the final word is more of a question than a statement. She continued: "I think it's just my type of, the way I would talk about it. I'm not overly confident in love. I'd probably be more coy about it, I guess, just like, 'call me, maybe? If you want to?'" We're even more confused now.
