Scots express their Concern

Belle and Sebastian have teamed up with Concern Worldwide to raise funds for the Irish charity

Belle and Sebastian have teamed up with Concern Worldwide to raise funds for the Irish charity. The Scottish band are offering fans a chance to see them play at this year’s Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona. The prize includes flights and accommodation. Entry to the virtual raffle (via concern.net/belle) costs €5.

The competition was launched at Belle and Sebastian's Dublin gig in December, and will continue until March 31st.

"The crowd at our Dublin gig made it through the horrendous weather to come out and see us play," keyboardist Chris Geddes said. "When we announced the raffle and spoke about supporting Concern, their response was great."

Further additions to the Primavera line-up were made last week. These include PJ Harvey, Sufjan Stevens, PiL, DJ Shadow and Interpol, who join a line-up that already boasts Pulp, Animal Collective and Fleet Foxes.
