One for the real house heads in the audience: Nightflight bring Larry “Mr Fingers” Heard back to town for another showdown. Heard has been one of those exalted house names for as long as there has been four-to-the-floor to talk about.

Since he started releasing records back in Chicago in the 1980s, Heard has always had a rep for producing sleek, mesmeric classics – the likes of Can U Feel It? (which remains one of the greatest house cuts of all time) and Mystery of Love. His Another Side album, released under the Fingers Inc moniker in 1988, was one of the first indications that house was capable of producing album-

length symphonies, and Heard’s early work continues to be a huge influence on today’s deep house producers. Support for Heard is from Jimmy B and Stephen Manning, while Aaron Dempsey and Pablo spin in the other room.
