Alex Johnston has won the Stewart Parker Award of £7,500 for his play Melon Farmer, while Mark O'Rowe has won the BBC Stewart Parker Radio Drama Award for his play From Both Hips, and BBC Northern Ireland's Irish language drama award has been won by Eilis Ni Dhuibhne for Milseog an tSamhraidh.
