Mullen's of Laurel Park in Woodbrook, Co Dublin, are holding an auction on Monday starting at 11 a.m., with a very wide range of items on offer, many of them at modest prices. Among the more expensive pieces are a mahogany Chippendale style telescopic dining table, estimated to fetch £1,500-£2,000 and an Edwardian mahogany breakfront cabinet, inlaid throughout in satinwood, which should make £1,000-£1,500. Other furniture includes a set of six 19th century mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs (estimate, £500-£600) a Victorian carved oak eased wall clock, inscribed Patrick Donegan, Dublin (£450-£650) a Georgian mahogany linen press (£550-£600) and a two piece Edwardian bedroom suite (£350-£550).
