TUESDAY'S auction in John Dunphy's premises at Henry Street, Limerick, went particularly well, with a Victorian two door bookcase making £2,200 and a mahogany dining table, some 13 and a half feet long, £2,000. An Irish Regency serving table sold for £1,950, a Regency oval gilt mirror made £1,400, a large Victorian overmantle mirror fetched £1,000 and an Edwardian Adam style sideboard sold for £800.
