EARLY Victorian carpentry tools in ebony and brass, including planes, chisels and set squares, will be among the items on sale at the Dublin Castle Antiques and Collectors' Fair in Dublin Castle tomorrow.

Given the weekend, there will also be a selection of early St Patrick's Day postcards, sent from the US to relatives in Ireland. There will also be a collection of early nautical items, including a number of Janes Shipping Manuals.

Several dealers will also be selling a range of wall clocks, art deco and nouveau wall, ceiling and table lights and small furniture items.

China and porcelain on offer include early Sylvac and Wade figures and a selection of dinner and tea services. Other items at the fair, which opens at 10.30 a.m. in Dublin Castle's Old Coach House, include silver, jewellery, linen, lace, antique advertising and toys.
